FLEDGLING
An adaptation of The Flight of Birds by Joshua Lobb
First performed at the University of Wollongong as a part of my Creative Arts Honours (Theatre), Fledgling has since been performed as a part of the MerrigongX 2021 Program, where it enjoyed a Sold Out Season. Fledgling is a story of grief and climate change told across time. It follows the relationship between a father and his daughter, and illustrates the ways that families become units of transmission for many things; trauma, laughter, stories. Fledgling shows us the impact we can have on each other, but also asks us what impact we are leaving behind on our planet.
